As most of you know, our guild website has been down for several months. It's made communication difficult especially with those of you who haven't been playing lately, but you want to stay connected with the great people in our guild. Hence, this website.
Mornal explained the guild website problems to me. I am computer proficient meaning I have used a wide range of computer programs over more than 20 years, but I don't do programming or hardware. He used terms I didn't understand, but the gist of it was that a bunch of goblin engineers got into the website and blew it up. He said he would have to piece it back together one piece at a time.
This xpac has been different than any we've experienced so far. Real life hit so many of us so hard including me. I spent most of the first 6 months of 2015 traveling to help my children with new grandbabies. For those of you who don't know, my granddaughter nearly died at 1 month. Thank God, she's doing super well now. They have moved here, and she is happily exploring my house trying to eat paper and anything else she can get a hold of.
For those checking us out as a guild, I can explain briefly here: we've been a casual raiding clean-chat, clean-topic guild since April 2007. Raiding went out the window this xpac. We simply couldn't get enough people on together at the same time. If it wasn't real life that happened, it was that many people took a break from WoW in general. Those who have been on have been solo playing for the most part. I expect we'll have people return to the game at the beginning of the next xpac. I hope it goes better.
